Downton Abbey Movie

Saw it yesterday.  Overall, if you're a fan - you'll be satisfied.  It was good to see everyone.  For a movie the plot was pretty thin.

I agree with your take. I think part of the fun of the series was wondering what would happen next. A pleasant diversion, but maybe a little letdown even though I wasn't expecting much.

Met a group for drinks before. Went dressed in period costumes.

Had a splendid time.

Is it playing at any theaters with the reclining seats and wine available? I didn’t see it on the Essex Green list.

Loved Downton.

Funny, my wife loved Iain Glenn as Jorah in GOT, but when I pointed out he was in Downton, which we both loved, she hated the character.

Sign of a good character and the power of a good scruff I guess... 

Looking forward to seeing the movie.
