does PSE&G communicate?

We live off Maplewood Avenue and have suffered through random street closings by PSE&G without any notice. I've sent email complaints with no meaningful response.

Today a neighbor on nearby Buckingham Gardens told us that they were never notified by PSE&G and someone spoke with an administrator who insists that the entire neighborhood received mailings and flyers.

Wondering if other sections of Maplewood have had this same problem.

Any suggestions?

We receive telephone alerts directly from PSEG and email alerts related to PSEG-things from the township.Though we've never had our street closed for work (yet), so I can't verify how they communicate if there is an urgent short notice emergency that requires a closure.

In South Orange here.  We have never received any kind of communication from PSEG regarding blocking our driveway for work.  And it happens pretty often, unfortunately for us.

They marked up our street and sidewalks in South Orange with spray paint and put little flags all over the place, including on residents' private property, about two weeks ago, but we've never heard a thing about what type of work they are planning... and now many of the flags are falling apart and getting beat up and turning in to eyesores and litter...

I'm in Maplewood and someone came last week and did the spray paint/flag thing to my property.  I had already had the house marked about 6 weeks ago (a subsequent visit by a PSEG employee said it was marked incorrectly -- the water/gas lines were switched).  Now last week they came and marked it (incorrectly) again.  I called PSEG and the woman couldn't give me an answer as to why it was done twice.  Weird.

Most of the time we get a phone call or text alert. I think we may have signed up for them on the website.

We get a phone alert but usually after the work has been completed.
