Did you or a friend buy a mounted stuffed bird head?

My mother, who passed away in June, had an Andulovian Grackler, a Dr. Seuss sculpture. When a cleaning crew cleared out her apartment, most of her items were donated to Morrow Church for their sale. Recently, I found the certificate papers for this sculpture gifting it to my dad for his birthday. It would mean a lot to me to be able to recover this item. They are both deceased within the past two years and it's been rough since they were both too young (ages 66 & 67).
If anyone has any information, please let me know. The church confirms it was sold but they obviously do not have a record of the purchaser.

The church may have a dealer list that they work with in the event that it was purchased by one of them ; they may be willing to work with you .good luck retrieving it

Since that is obviously not a mounted, stuffed bird head, you may want to retitle this thread.

It's a mounted (fake) bird head that looks stuffed at first glance. How would you better describe it? I think anyone who has seen it would make the connection.

If a dealer bought it, the OP may need to be very clear about whether they are willing to pay some fraction of the market value to get it back, since going to these sales and finding undervalued items is part of a dealer's livelihood.

(I sympathize...I've cleaned out a parent's house, and finding and recognizing the items of sentimental and/or financial value is one of the real challenges, and would be even harder for a cleaning crew)

What a shame for your family! Does anyone at the Church remember the item? could maybe social media or the newspaper help? I would be very upset- good luck I hope you can find it!
