Second for Dr. Stephanie Badalamenti, she is excellent!

thx guys! i just called and bc i'm a new patient, they can't get me in for 8 weeks. Any idea how her partners are? thanks!

DR. Stephen Seibt, in West Orange.

Are you willing to go into Manhattan?

  1. thanks all! i'd rather not do manhattan right now, steve.

Although they seem to list cosmetic before medical derm, my son went to Dr. Ehrenreich, got a quick appointment as a new patient, and had his rash identified and treated.

At this time of year -- just wondering if you may have gotten poison ivy?

I need to see a dermatologist for really itchy skin too and just logged in to find recommendations. Definitely not poison ivy. So taaj, did you go already? Where if you don't mind saying. I've never gone to one before so I'd be a new patient too. Any other recs, anyone?

I see Dr Kimberly Ruhl in West Orange (across Old Short Hills Road from St Barnabas Hospital.) 973-731-9600

While the practice apparently does a good bit of cosmetic work, she has never once brought any of that up with me and seems thorough and helpful with skin checks and treatments. She is in practice with Deborah Spey who is also very good and there may now be other doctors in the group ... I'm not sure. However, Dr Ruhl is the one who takes my insurance at this time.

I don't know how long it takes for a new patient to get in. That kind of wait is unfortunately pretty common in many medical practices these days.
