Covid-19 has reached Maplewood

We have our first case in Maplewood.... Wondering how many more will follow....

I’m pretty sure that if there were adequate tests we would actually have it in every county by now.  I’m sure there isn’t just one case in Maplewood

 There is definitely more than 1, and even with adequate test I don't expect them to reveal the actual numbers 

I expect them to reveal the numbers they know about.  Problem is that testing is only reliable for those with symptoms.  Those without symptoms who are infected with the virus can still spread it to others.  This is why we are now being advised to avoid contact with everyone, not just those who may be visibly sick.

Exactly.  There is more than one case now in Maplewood.

 Yes.  Not only are there not yet enough tests, but from what I’ve read, the sensitivity of the current tests is not necessarily good enough to find asymptomatic cases.  It is a diagnostic test designed to ID an infection, rather than a high-sensitivity screening test.

might be 1st CONFIRMED case....an expert believed a few days ago that there were actually between 50-500K in the country...only the ones that have tested positive are being reported...many people are not getting tested, some are so mild they don't realize they are sick, others try to get tested and are denied testing.  kids in particular tend to get very mild symptoms.

is there any website listing known cases per town? or just by county?
