I have seen videos of people loading up the flatbed carts in Costco with eggs… probably restaurants and bodegas owners, I mean literally hundreds of eggs. They should be limited!

At some point, it will be limited. Recall during COVID, when they limited Lysol, paper towels, toilet paper and such?
At least one of the Costco's I've been to recently had a sign saying egg purchases were limited. Was moot, since there were no eggs.

my Costco does limit purchases.
I just paid $8.99 for a dozen XL eggs at Shop Rite just now. Looks like they mostly have store brand, few of the usual selection of name brands and bougie options. And the section was about half empty.
Just now…$6.16 a dozen at General Store on Springfield Ave at Prospect. 2 dozen limit.
