Calling all Kitchen Aid fans out there

I have been tasked with the purchase of a standard size Kitchen Aid stand mixer. I am a bargain hunter, the future owner is not. I have been given zero restrictions budget-wise, but the thrifter in my DNA wants the best deal. Suggestions? Thought of Kohl’s, but coupons/discounts don’t apply to the mixers. This is a good time of year to buy one, I assume. Thank you for any helpful input!

check Walmart online shopping, you can get one under $300.

4.5 quart is plenty big for anyone but a heavy duty baker. You can get the "Classic" for about $240, even through KitchenAid; the fancy colored ones "Deluxe" for about $20 more.

I grew up with one and I have had my own for 25+ years. They are inexpensive compared to what they used to be. I think mine was $200.

If you are a Costco member, they usually have a nice package deal of the Kitchen Aid Artisan mixer (which is about the same size as the Classic)

Does it have to be new?  There are quite a few decent looking ones listed on FB Marketplace around $150.

Kitchenaid makes fans?

There is a long story as to how I know this that I won't get into, but QVC often has amazing "deal of the day" sales on Kitchen Aid leading up to the holidays.  I'm talking $300 off the top of the line models.

My latest go-to on price shopping is to find a stock photo of the item and do a Google image search.

The process: Take a screenshot of  the image and save it to your photo library.  I generally crop the photo to just show the item of interest.  Then go to google images and upload the photo. Multiple sources at a range of prices pop up.  Some will be exact matches, and some will be very similar.

If you are doing this on anything other than a computer, like on your phone or iPad, you need to request the Google Images desktop site.

Good luck!

@Heynj Just checked their website, this is on sale with free shipping https://www.qvc.com/kitchenaid-pro-600-6-qt-bowl-lift-stand-mixer-w-flex-edge.product.K89093.html?sc=NAVLIST

I don't need it, but I want it!

Oh but they do! They make ranges and what do you need for a range? A kitchen fan, most often called a "hood" to get rid of the smoke and smells...

Oh, you probably just missed the "Black Friday" and "Cyber Monday" deals.  But some places still seem to be holding "Cyber Week" sales.

I would love to have one, too.  Never thought about including their own site on a price search -- but those seem like great prices.

Turquoise sounds right down my alley, too, KarenMarlowe.  Oh, now, something ELSE to shop for!  I may just have to "task" someone with that request!

I put off getting a Kitchen Aid for years and years - price, counter space, etc. etc.  Finally some people got me one. Best gift ever!!  I'm sure you'll love it.

Only tiny wish: the plastic shield for pouring things into the bowl.  Now, thanks to this thread, i see the shield is available separately for a machine the size of mine, for like $20.  Thank you for posting, Heynj!  grin grin

Took a look on TEMU,com tonight and it looks like they've got a ton of Kitchen-Aid stuff there -- at great prices.

Have to run, but I'll come back to tell you about my TEMU ordering experiences later.  All good.  Worth taking a look!

I completely understand - it's nicer than the one I have and I want it, but can't justify buying a new one.

be careful with TEMU.  It's full of grey market ripoffs and you are supporting unregulated labor.

I'll take it under advisement....Thx.
