I was going to say that it is probably a wild bunny and you should leave him where he is, but looking at the picture that is definitely a domestic bunny.
Maybe take him to Raptor Trust. He obviously can't fend for himself and would make a lovely meal for their Bald Eagle. You may be able to get a charitable tax deduction for the gift.
Very sweet of you. If a lovey made it outside, it is loved and I'm sure very much missed. Maybe you have done this already, but I suggest you post this on the SOMA Lounge on FB. Good luck in finding this bunny's owner. I'm sure it will warm your heart to see the reunion.
Post on the SOMA junior swap list, if the bunny owner isn't on it, maybe some of their friends are and recognize the lost bunny.

Thank you! I've applied for membership in the SOMA Facebook groups. Once I'm approved - I'll post notice of bunny and pic there.
Is anyone missing a bunny? We found this bunny on the trail near the entrance to the Rahway trailhead. Please PM for pickup address. Thanks
