Big score yesterday.

Princeton Institute Woods..... a large tree trunk was on the ground, LOADED with Oyster mushrooms.

Backpacks were loaded and there was still some left on the tree.

I keep hoping to find a brand new giant puffball.  I hear they are good eating but have to be harvested more or less the day they pop up.  Once the flesh starts to turn color, they aren't good for eating any more.


Chicken-of-the-woods will be popping up shortly, The recent rain should help.
