all aboard the cannabus!

you fool… took the words right out of my mouth…that’s the bus that makes the loop at millburn!

Looking at the application, it says that a cannabis establishment must be 1000 feet from another cannabis establishment. That means that the downtown area will be limited to one or two establishments.

Is this a license to carry concealed?

Never mind. I misread the post I was responding to.

Schedule: Every once in a while.

I fixed the typo - but came across this - can I get a license for this?

In answer to the opening question, I believe that I've read elsewhere some weeks ago that a total of 4 retail licenses may be issued and that there could be separate licenses for wholesale and even possible growers. I could be wrong and stand ready to be corrected.

"I don't want to cause no fuss but can I buy your magic bus?"

1000 feet is about 4 blocks? So we can have one up by Durand rd, and another on Baker Street. I’m thinking we can hay3 on Springfield avenue, with one by the 7/11 and the other next door to the maplewood arts center.

There is already a dispensary in the former East Side Fitness location, which is poised to get one of the licenses, I believe.

The movie house... perfect. Buy a couple'a bones, kick back in your new, AMC-type seat and watch Reefer Madness.

yes I know the Apothecary close to prospect, that would be in the middle. 1000 feet to the East and west and we have three.

And there are two CBD stores in Maplewood village. The CannaBossLady on Highland Place and My CBD Organics at the corner of Highland Place and Maplewood Ave. They are only about 100 feet apart.

is selling cbd products the same as selling marijuana?

No, not the same.  But I assume both will apply for a cannabis license and one of them will lose out due to the distance requirements.

I understand there's a dispensary on Springfield Ave by Prospect.St

Is it at the location of a 1960 ice cream parlor that was by Prospect St and Springfield Ave.

Name of it was something like Manjuries

It's at 1865 Springfield Avenue.  This location was East Side Fitness for several years. I can't recall what it was before that.

There was an ice cream parlor on Springfield Ave many years ago. It was called Manjerries, not sure of spelling. The ice cream was homemade and absolutely delicious. Not sure of exact location.

I think it was a 99c store.

I was thinking just before it was east side fitness, wasn’t there a 99c store after rite aid closed?

Yes.

thanks for the replies , but for the life of me can;t remember what store was on the corner of springfield and yale in the 1960s. I'm pretty sure 99 cent stores and fitness gyms weren't  around then. But have a hard time 60 or so years later remembering what stores were around then besides Norman and Barney's, Topfs Drug store and Manjuries (?)

It is not technically on that corner.  It is on the south side of SA, so between Prospect and Princeton opposite the Yale intersection.

The NJ dispensaries do not sell seeds. Growing cannabis privately is still illegal in NJ.
