Any feedback on Skyroam mobile WiFi device and service?

I've been poking around the internet recently looking at mobile hotspots and other connectivity solutions for a trip to Peru in the fall.  Of course I'm now getting lots of ads in my newsfeeds.  I saw this one today and it looks interesting. http://www.skyroam.com/.   Anyone have experience with it?  I suppose that it is only as good as the cellular coverage wherever you are.  Does anyone know how to research that for specific international destinations?

We had excellent wi-fi connections in our hotel in Cusco when we went to Peru 18 months ago.  Our fellow passenger on the train to Machu Picchu was posting and receiving responses on Facebook as we traveled, although I don't know whether he was using wi-fi or his phone service.
