I am in desperate need of assistance. I have 2 cats aprox ages 7 & 8 years old. I have had them both since they were kittens without any problems. I move to NJ from Brooklyn 2 years ago and since then they have continuously fought to the point that we needed to keep them seperated when not home. One cat has already suffered a few injuries from the other more aggressive cat.This is not fair to either of the cats as we have had to rotate them in different rooms to avoid any injuries. I have taken both cats to the vet to check for any issues and also to get any assistance on behavoiral issues multiple times. We've tried slow reintroductions, feliway, even medications for aggression and confidence in the other cat. I tryuly have tried everything I can think of. Both my husband and I work full time and we can not leave the cats together unattended.I need help in finding a safe and forever home for our one cat Edie. She is the one suffering the attacks from the other cat. She is resilient and a total sweetheart who wants nothing more than to cuddle and sleep in the sun. We have reached out to many rescue organizations as well as family and friends and have not been able to find a solution. If anyone knows of anyone looking to adopt a truly loving and sweet adult cat please let me know.
