In situations of conflict, we easily become angry. We rely upon anger, as if it were a trusted friend, to 'win' our battles. However, anger leaves a trail of broken relationships, lost opportunities and painful feelings in its wake. According to Buddha, anger is a deluded, unpeaceful mind that distorts our perceptions. It exaggerates problems so that they feel unmanageable, and we become overwhelmed.
